A Growing Family's Needs

We recently completed an exciting kitchen renovation for a local nurse’s home in Kalihi,
designed to accommodate her growing family. The previous layout presented challenges, with
appliances scattered throughout the space, which made doing daily tasks cumbersome. Our
mission was to create a more efficient and functional kitchen tailored to her needs.
To ensure the design matched her vision perfectly, our team created multiple iterations of the
kitchen layout using 3D software. This collaborative approach allowed us to visualize the space
with the client and make revisions based on her feedback. By blocking an existing window and
relocating the refrigerator, sink and stove, we transformed her kitchen into a much more
practical space, including a stunning new eight-foot island as the focal point for family
gatherings

Design

The client chose a striking dual-tone design that beautifully combines our Frameless Dark Wood
cabinets with elegant White Shaker doors. This combination adds depth and character, creating
a modern yet timeless feel. Stylish subway tiles complement the cabinetry and chic gold cabinet
pulls enhance the overall aesthetic.

Features

To brighten the space, we installed new recessed lighting, ensuring the kitchen feels warm and
inviting. We also replaced the aging, stain-prone tile and grout floor with durable luxury vinyl
plank, providing both beauty and easy maintenance. Additional features, such as deep cabinet
drawers and a custom pull-out trash bin, ensure ample storage for pots, pans and less aesthetic
items.

We take pride in this transformation and are thrilled to have contributed to a space that will
serve her family for years to come. It was a pleasure working on this project, and we hope the
client and her loved ones enjoy their new kitchen as much as we enjoyed creating it.
