Like all of Ohana’s frameless cabinets, their White Shaker line features best-in-class ¾” plywood box construction with a melamine laminate finish. Featured here is one of Ohana’s latest White Shaker installations within a 1960s single-wall home in Aiea. While the home’s structure was solid, its original kitchen—over half a century old—was in dire need of a full replacement and redesign. Working closely with the homeowners, non-structural kitchen walls were removed to create space for a large centerpiece island and improved flow throughout the kitchen. Personal touches include gold cabinet pulls and lighting fixtures, which perfectly match the gold veining of the quartz countertops that Ohana also installed.

The finished kitchen looks and feels completely custom—seamlessly blending modern functionality with the home’s original charm.
